Maharana Pratap Jayanti, also known as Rana Pratap Jayanti, is an annual celebration observed in honor of Maharana Pratap, a renowned warrior and the 13th ruler of Mewar. Maharana Pratap Jayanti is celebrated on the birth anniversary of Maharana Pratap, which falls on the third day of the Jyeshtha Shukla phase, according to the Hindu calendar. This usually occurs in the month of May or June. This day marks the birth anniversary of the great Rajput warrior-king, Maharana Pratap Singh, who valiantly defended his kingdom against the mighty Mughal Empire.
The Gahlot Rajput Maha Sabha (GRMS) celebrated the Maharana Pratap Jayanti 2023 with great enthusiasm on the 14th May 2023 at the Mahatma Gandhi Institute. This special celebration was marked by the presence of Honourable Pravind Kumar Jugnauth, Prime Minister of the Republic of Mauritius.
On this special occasion of Maharana Pratap Jayanti 2023, several esteemed guests from India(Jaipur) attended the celebrations to honor the legendary warrior-king. These special guests included Mr Ram Singh Rajawat, President of Shree Rajput Sabha Jaipur and members of the Shree Rajput Sabha Jaipur.
